VEX Worlds brought together teams with different designs, strategies, and ways of working. Seeing that range of approaches made the event as much an opportunity to learn as it was a competition.

Responding in real time
A robotics competition requires constant adjustment. Decisions have to be made with limited time, and new problems need to be understood before a useful response can be found.

Looking back
Reaching the world championship with my team remains an important part of my time in robotics and of the way I learned to work alongside other people.
